HAPPY PAWS TRAIN & PLAY ARENA
We are providing this facility purely for the enjoyment of users to spend time training and playing with their dog/s. The following conditions and disclaimers are to make all users of the Happy Paws Train & Play arena aware of any hazards involved for themselves and their dog/s when using this facility. These conditions of use are listed to help minimise any risks and the rules stipulated are to enforce your (and your dog/s) safe enjoyment of this facility. However, use of this dog training and play arena is entirely AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Before you come:
No more than 4 dogs allowed per adult (18+). Insured dog walkers maximum 8 dogs allowed per adult.
Your dog/s should be free of any infectious disease and be vaccinated for distemper, Parvovirus and Bordetella (Canine Cough). All dogs who enter the arena should have up to date vaccinations plus worming/flea treatments.
Dog/s should be free of contagious parasitic problems, whether internal or external (including fleas and ticks) and be free of any contagious skin disorders.
All dogs who enter the arena should have adequate pet insurance in place.
The secure perimeter fences surrounding the arena are 6ft to 7ft high - if your dog can scale this height DO NOT HIRE THE ARENA - we will NOT accept any responsibility for any escapees, or any injuries inflicted when scaling fences.
We do not allow the use of electronic devices, prong collars or choke collars. If we witness the use of such items, or any forced handling of dogs, you will be banned from future use of our facility.
Entering & Exiting:
Dog/s must wear a collar and be kept on a lead when in the car park and whilst entering or exiting the arena.
Please give plenty of space for owners and their dog/s when they are exiting the arena. No access is allowed into the arena until your time slot begins.
Do not enter the arena until the previous user has left. Dog/s already in the arena maybe curious and rush over to greet arriving dogs who may be nervous. ALWAYS close all gates behind you.
During your visit:
Some of the apparatus may look like children’s play equipment, however all apparatus is STRICTLY FOR THE PURPOSE OF DOG TRAINING & PLAYING ONLY.
Children are not allowed to be in the arena without a responsible adult or guardian. Children must be supervised at all times and be familiar/known to the dog/s they have entered with.
You cannot leave your dog/s unattended or under the supervision of children at any time.
If your dog/s becomes too excited and/or being overly boisterous this could result in injury to the dog/s and yourself. In this situation dog/s must be removed to calm down and divert their attention.
Feeding your dog/s inside the arena is strictly forbidden. You can feed small treats for training purposes only. We do not advise that you feed your dog/s directly before exercising.
You must supervise your dog/s at all times, follow the arena rules and follow any instructions from any of the Happy Paws / Homefeeds employees.
Never force your dog/s to use any of the equipment/apparatus. If you are unsure about using any equipment we advise that you do not use it.
Please clean up IMMEDIATELY after your dog/s and dispose of all waste using your own/provided poo bags in the designated bin. You must thoroughly remove any mess and ensure no trace is left.
Please leave no litter onsite and dispose of all litter in the designated bin. If you bring your own food into the arena please ensure that no traces are left behind as other dog/s may consume it unknown to their owners.
Do not allow your dogs to dig or excessively bark.
No smoking or drinking alcohol allowed.
No climbing on gates, fences or on any equipment (only dogs allowed).
If your dog or a human causes damage to any fencing or equipment advise the Homefeeds Store staff immediately. If you spot any damage to fencing or equipment please advise immediately.
Cancellation Policy
Please note that once you have booked a session with us it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you. If you cancel your session less than 24 hours before it is scheduled to take place, you will not be entitled for a refund or to rearrange your session.

To avoid this, please provide cancellation notice at least 24 hours prior to your session.

Happy Paws has the right to cancel any bookings without notice due to adverse weather conditions. In this event you will be fully refunded or offered a reschedule.

Do not offer your session to anyone else. Since you are the name on our records who has agreed to our terms and conditions, you will be liable for any breaches the other person make.
Disclaimers for all hirers:
I understand the equipment/apparatus provided in the arena, and the arena itself, is for the sole purpose of training and playing with my dog/s, and no other use is permitted.
I understand that the equipment/apparatus is not to be used by children, my invited guests and/or members of my family either supervised or unsupervised.
I understand that dog/s exercising is not without risk to myself, my invited guests, members of my family, and/or my dog/s.
I understand that this type of off-lead exercise can be a strenuous activity requiring my dog/s to be physically fit.
I understand that this type of off-lead exercise with my dog/s can be a strenuous activity requiring myself to be physically fit.
I understand that I should only use the equipment provided if I am confident of my dog/s ability to use the apparatus, and that I must not force my dog/s to use it.
I agree that, in the event of injury to my dog/s, my guests, my family members, or myself, I will not hold Homefeeds Ltd (owners of the Happy Paws Train & Play arena) responsible.
I agree that I will assume all responsibility for any damage done to the property, the equipment, any persons, or other dog/s by me or my dog/s actions whilst in the arena.
I agree that I am responsible for all the actions of my dog/s, my guests, my family members, or myself whilst using in the arena and using the equipment.
By using the facility, you fully agree, understand and will abide by the terms & conditions, and we reserve the right to refuse entry, remove from the arena and/or cancel bookings where these terms are not adhered too.

Booking for xl bully dog/s
For XL Bully dog/s to use the Happy Paws Train & Play Arena, you must provide:
A copy of the life certificate and the public liability insurance certificate.
Plus, all owners and XL Bully dog/s must adhere to these additonal terms & conditions:
• The dog handler ratio is 1:1 with their handler at all times unless with other dogs from the same household.
• The dog is Neutered – in line with Government Rules.
• The dog is Micro Chipped.
• The dog is kept on a lead and muzzled until the gate is shut when entering the arena.
• The dog is put back on a lead and muzzled before opening the gate to leave the arena.
• You can remove the lead and muzzle once inside the secured arena.
• If the household has more than 1 dog, they can come to the field together as long as they have a minimum of 1 handler. All dogs leads and muzzles can be removed once in the arena including the XL Bully.
• If there are dogs from different households, the banned breed will need to remain muzzled and on a lead at all time with a 1:1 handler.
